Sharon Carlson founded Carlson Education Consulting in 2015, and loves to help her private college advising students and their parents through the college search process. She also offers educational and career coaching, strengths-based team building workshops, and speaks at educational, homeschool, and women’s ministry conferences.
She currently works with private clients part-time, while serving full-time at Gordon College (Wenham, MA) in dual roles as the Director of Pathways Initiatives and the Graduate Leadership Classical Program Assistant.
Sharon received her Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and English Literature from Gordon College, and her Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. She has worked in student development, admissions, and as a senior administrator in both higher education and K-12 school settings. She currently serves as Board Chair at North Shore Christian School (Lynn and Wenham, MA).
Sharon is a native of Massachusetts and currently lives on the North Shore. She and her husband, Chris, have been married for 37 years and have two adult children.
